Never email passwords, API keys, cookies, authorization headers, private account information, or unrelated private files.
Getting started
- Accept the app's online-playback disclosure.
- Choose File → Open YouTube URL….
- Paste a public YouTube video, Shorts, Live, or youtu.be address.
- Use the standard embedded YouTube controls for free playback.
The video must permit embedding. Private, removed, age-restricted, region-restricted, or embedding-disabled videos may not play.
Premium tools and purchases
Eligible monthly and annual subscribers can evaluate premium StreamFrame tools with a three-day introductory trial. Monthly, annual, and lifetime purchases are processed by Apple. Use Access → Restore Purchases after reinstalling or moving to another Mac signed into the same Apple Account. Use Access → Manage Subscription to review or cancel an auto-renewable subscription.

- Choose Help → Report a Problem….
- Describe what happened and what you expected.
- Review every information group and omit anything you do not want to share.
- Choose Review Report and read the exact report.
- Copy, save, or share it with support@ytstreamingplayer.com.

Common questions
Why is frame stepping estimated?
YouTube's embedded-player API does not expose decoded frames or exact source frame rate. StreamFrame seeks by the frame-rate estimate you select and may land near a keyframe.
Why will a video not play?
The URL may be invalid, the owner may have disabled embedding, the video may be private or restricted, or the network may be unavailable. Try the same video on YouTube and confirm that embedding is permitted.
How do I pan an enlarged video?
After premium tools are unlocked, hold Option while dragging, hold Option and use the arrow keys, or use the accessible Precision View menu commands.
Does StreamFrame search YouTube or access my Google account?
No. Videos are opened only from addresses you supply. StreamFrame does not provide YouTube search, Google login, or access to private YouTube data.
How do I update the app?
Updates are delivered through the Mac App Store. StreamFrame Player does not install its own updater.
Privacy and local data
Use StreamFrame Player → Privacy Settings… to change retention choices, clear individual categories, withdraw online-playback consent, or delete all local app data.

YouTube is a trademark of Google LLC. StreamFrame Player is independent and is not endorsed by YouTube or Google.
